Supplier - Our herbal supplier has been supplying herbs, etc. to wholesale houses and the marketplace for well over 15 years. They are well known and established in the industry. The herbs are free of pesticides and herbicides, and are not fumigated, sprayed or irradiated. Lab tested for potency, 100% pure. All herbs are naturally grown under controlled conditions - commercially organic (wildcrafted) or certified organic. Our herbs are ethically gathered at peak potency. The herbs we offer are some of the finest on the market today!
Herb Packaging - Packaged in food grade 2 mil plastic bags sealed with twist ties to reduce shipping costs. Air tight sealed or vacuum sealed bags seal natural herb moisture inside encouraging herbs to mold quickly. We do not air tight seal or vacuum seal our herbs because of this! Store in a cool, dry, darkened area. Our quality herbs will stay fresh and potent for 18-24 months from date of purchase.
Quality - We offer both Organic/Wildcrafted and Certified Organic herbs. Organic/Wildcrafted refers to the way agricultural products-food and fiber-are grown and processed. Organic/Wildcrafted products are based on a system of farming that maintains and replenishes soil fertility without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilizers. Organic/Wildcrafted food and fibers are minimally processed, and have no artificial ingredients, preservatives, fumigation or irradiation to maintain the integrity of the products. Organic/Wildcrafted may or may not be indicated on the packaging. "Certified Organic" means the item has been grown according to strict uniform standards that are verified by independent state or private organizations. Certification includes inspections of farm fields and processing facilities, detailed record keeping, and periodic testing of soil and water to ensure that growers and handlers are meeting the standards which have been set. Certified Organic products cost considerably more in order to pay for these processes. Certified Organic herbs are indicated as such on the packaging by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.
Payment - We accept all PayPal payments including credit cards thru PayPal, eChecks, etc. We also accept cashiers checks, money orders and personal checks.
Shipping - SHIPPING IS FREE!! We charge a flat $6.95 handling fee for the total order (not per item). All orders are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of payment (weekends and holidays excluded). Herbs, spices, etc. in-stock rates are high. We do not accept back orders. Orders are shipped from the central United States offering timely delivery thru UPS or USPS at our discretion. You will receive a shipping confirmation, and tracking number when available.
International Shipping - International customers please email for a shipping quote and ordering instructions prior to purchase.
Guarantee - If not completely satisfied with any item, contact us within 30 days of order date. Complete satisfaction is our goal. We will pay return freight on orders resulting from our error or your dissatisfaction. The customer will pay return freight on all misordered herbs or spices. Orders must be returned with a tracking number. Credit will be issued upon receipt.
Pricing - Herb and spice prices are subject to change without notice. For quantites over 25 pounds per individual herb or spice, please contact us for a quote.
Safety - Product statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. We are not responsible for use or misuse of any of our products. By ordering, you the customer, accept full responsibility that the product will be used in a rational and informed manner. Illness or negative reactions can occur from excessive consumption, individual sensitivites and allergic reactions. Individuals who are pregnant or with an existing medical condition should seek qualified expert advice before using any herb or spice.
